Day 7

Forgiveness is Forever....... no take backs

The one thing that never changes is the one thing that remains the same. The one thing that remains the same is the one thing we all have in common. We all have sin. We all have emotions. We all have anxiety. We all have optimism, or else somewhere at our developmental core we should. We all have challengess.. We all pay bills, search for food, shelter, clothes. No one is bigger or better than the next. Therefore, no one person’s sin is worse than the other. God is no respecter of persons. God's grace & mercy are here for all of us, equally.

Ephesians 4:32 NIV

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

If our loving and forgiving Father has daily grace and forgiveness for us, then it is our honor and privilege to strive towards the same for others. Forgiveness is forever, it is an onging and constant process. No take backs. Like the air we breath, we need it to survive. We also need forgivenss to survive. We don't take in all of our daily air at one time. We do it moment by moment, breath by breath. One breath in & one breath out. Steady and relaxed. It's a biological process in order for everything in our body to function. Air is to our fleshly body as forgiveness is to our mind, soul, and spirit. Forgiveness is a choice we get to make. We can begin by doing it little by little.

Colossians 3:13 NIV

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Grow. Get used to what it feels like to forgive. Eventually this forgiveness muscle will be conditioned and you will be able to do it with ease and continuity. Remember that first, forgiveness is for yourself. Challenge yourself to take your personal self forgivenss to the next level. Then you will be able to give out to others what you have given yourself. Forgive in all ways at all time..... forever.

Matthew 18:21 NIV

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”
