So much has happened since we last spoke. I know we’ve spent quite a bit of time these past several years in the healing process and working through all that has happened from the past. It’s been quite a journey and one that surely isn’t for the faint of heart. Through the ups and downs, good and bad, for better or worse… (whoops, and more for better or worse), we survived it all. Being a renewed person and being on this side of the healing process is amazing.
Looking back now, I see God’s plan in everything. It was all supposed to unfold exactly the way it did. Had it been otherwise, I would not be the person I am today nor equipped enough to do what God has all along been calling me to do.
No worries about everything that occurred in our previous years, I know you are sorry… and I forgive you. Life brought things in your path that were both avoidable and unavoidable. We understand now so much more than we did then. People can’t give what they don’t have, they can’t do what they don’t know, and they aren’t able to be who they haven’t been shown to be. Understanding this to be true for others, as well as ourselves, sets us up for a successful future. Embracing this as a starting point allows the door of forgiveness to open, steps of healing to begin, and the path towards love to be illuminated.
This next season of the journey promises to be one that is filled with beauty for ashes. It’s time to reach out to others and share about the life experiences that have brought so much wisdom and growth. It has been revealed to me that I have been called for such a time as this. It is my time to step up to my calling and let others know they too can become all that God has created them to be.
Yes, healing will be a forever journey. However, now-a-days it’s filled with so much joy, happiness, and excitement for what the future has waiting. Dear Younger me…. Thank you, I wouldn’t have wanted my life to have been any other way. I love you!
Blessings,
~ Faye ~
